MissUC is pleased to offer an indoor league starting this January : “Start of 2020 Winter Indoor”.
Games will be played under a dome at Mentor College on Sunday evenings, starting January 26. There will be 8 games per team.
The league will have a minimum of 4 teams. The number of registrations will determine the number of teams. The league will either be a 5 on 5 OR 6 on 6 format, depending on how many members register for the league. It will be a co-ed league as well. We expect to have games start at 7 pm, 8:10 pm and 9:20 pm, depending on the number of teams.
Members can start registering for this league on December 1st. Use this link to the registration page if you are currently a member. We will not collect the registration fee for the league until we have a minimum of 40 members registered. Once we have achieved this minimum requirement, we will start processing the league fees. The price of the league is $155 (essentially $138 plus tax).
It is our intention to achieve a 5 on 5 league with a 2/2 gender ratio. We have set a limit of 30 open registrations and 30 women registrations. Once those limits are met, players will be put on a waiting list. After the registration deadline of January 5, we will turn to the waiting lists if necessary to complete the league and readjust the gender ratio accordingly.
This is a HAT league, meaning that members will sign up as individuals and be assigned to a team before the season starts. We are offering an opportunity for two players to indicate that they wish to play with each other. We will strive to put them both on the same team, but there are no guarantees.
