U18 4V4 Tryout Registration
PLEASE NOTE: WE DID NOT GET ENOUGH REGISTRATIONS FOR THIS EVENT AND HAVE HAD TO CANCEL THE TRYOUTS. Anyone that did register and pay for this event will receive a full refund.
This is the registration for members wanting to TRY OUT for the Mississauga U18 4v4 Competitive teams. This is a co-ed division. If we have enough people (players and coaches) to make more than one competitive team happen, we will endeavor to do so.
In order to complete the registration on this page, the player must first have completed a profile with the Mississauga Ultimate Club. Use this link to access the Create a Profile page. Also, there are some waivers that must be signed in order to complete the registration, if they have not already been completed.
A membership with MissUC is NOT required to complete this registration. A membership WILL be required to be a member of the team.
The tryouts will be held at the Infinite Sports facility at 134 Kennedy Rd S in BRAMPTON on Saturday, December 14th from 2 pm to 4 pm.
WAITING LIST SCENARIOS: This registration is currently equipped to handle 15 Open registrations and 15 Women registrations. If numbers surpass either of these registrations, applicants will be placed on a WAITING LIST (no payment will be asked for at that time). If, by December 12, we have room for more of either gender to attend the initial tryouts, we will invite the appropriate number of players on the WAITING LIST to complete their registration, including payment.
If the player is successful in making the team, it is reasonable to assume that practices will be held on January 4th and January 11th evenings, possibly at the same facility as the tryouts.
Tournaments the team is targeting to attend are Lamport in Toronto (January 18th), Provincials in Ottawa (January 24th-26th), and (if they qualify) Nationals in Ottawa (April 5-6). PLEASE NOTE: The Provincial Tournament on January 24-26, may coincide with many exam schedules. We are lobbying to move the dates of the tournament, but who knows.
Players in these tournaments are required to have been born between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2011.
**Please note, the tryout fee is used to pay for the rental of the indoor space for these tryouts. There are no refunds for this registration if you do not show up to the tryouts, or if you do not get a to play on a team.
In addition to a MissUC membership fee, players that do make the team can expect to pay a team fee that will cover the costs for the tournaments, practice facilities and a uniform kit. A separate fee will also be charged IF the team qualifies for nationals.
