JULY TUESDAYS : WOMENS Rec League (clinics/games/socializing)

Mississauga Ultimate Club is offering new and special programs this year on Tuesdays at AEC (1490 Odgen Ave). This registration is for women only.  Each evening will consist of clinics followed by games.  It is our hope that participants will opt to go out for socializing at the end of each Tuesday evening.

THIS REGISTRATION IS FOR JULY.  There is a registration for June, and a registration for August.

Any and all women over the age of 18 are welcome to join these programs.  We are focusing on making these clinics/games ideal for players that don't have a lot of experience and would like to improve their ultimate game. If you are an experienced player and want to encourage an inexperienced friend to join you, this would be a great opportunity to introduce your friend to ultimate and play with them. MissUC does plan to encourage some very experienced players to participate to provide encouragement, inspiration, skill development and good times.

Each evening will start at approximately 6:45 with greetings and some tossing of the discs. At 7 pmish, leaders will gather everyone together and go over fundamentals of the game (likely a combination of skills, rules and strategies).  Later into the evening everyone will play some ultimate – putting what you have learned so far to use.  Perhaps, when the games are done, the group will venture off to a local establishment for some refreshing libations and good times.

Note: it is the plan of the MissUC that there will be a similar Open program also happening at an adjacent field at the same time.  So, if you want your partner to also participate, and you share a ride, it can be done!  There is a separate registration for them.
